1.What are the inspection items for rubber seals?

1)Check if the product is clean.

2)Check whether the product has vulcanization defects;

3)Check whether the product has trimming/car side defects;

4)Check whether the product has scratches or defects;

5)Check whether the product has cutting defects;

6)Check whether the product has other defects such as freezing and deformation.

2.What are the defect characteristics of seal products?

1)Impurities:if they are not fused with the rubber,different colors or obvious foreign objects appear on the product;

2)Cracks:There are obvious cracks on the inner and outer surfaces or other surfaces of the product;

3)Degumming:The product rubber is separated from the skeleton and cannot be glued together;

4)Lack of material:The product has no obvious outline or there is no glue injection or dissatisfaction with glue injection in individual parts or obvious signs of rubber flow;

5)Air bubbles:The surface of the product is obviously convex and spherical;

3.What are the product defects?

3)Minor defects(C):The practicability of the product has been reduced,but it does not affect the use,and the product is acceptable;

4)Micro-defects(D):It has no effect on the practical performance of the product.It is purely a defect caused by imprecise manufacturing and can be used.

4.What are the criteria for judging appearance defects?

1)According to the appearance limit sealing standard when normal;

2)The product is not allowed to have serious defects such as degumming and cracks;

3)The working surface is not allowed to have impurities,cracks,scalding,material shortage,air bubbles,or rotten bubbles,and the non-working surface has no more than 2 mold dirt,flow marks,and unevenness less than 2mm²;

4)The working surface is not allowed to have any defects,the inner and outer lips of the oil seal should be kept sharp,and the inner and outer surfaces are not allowed to have axial lines;

5)Rectangular circle,the cutting surface should be smooth and free of burrs.

During installation,if the outer surface of the shaft diameter is low in roughness or has defects such as rust spots,rust,burrs,etc.,it should be smoothed with a fine emery cloth or oil stone;clean oil or grease should be applied to the oil seal lip or the corresponding position of the shaft diameter.Coat the outer ring of the oil seal with sealant,and wrap the keyway on the shaft with hard paper to avoid scratching the oil seal lip.Use a special tool to rotate the oil seal inward,and do not hit hard to prevent the oil seal from deforming.Or squeeze the spring to fail;
